WEVH and the community

The WEVH has a long history of training and supporting volunteers and paid workers in community organisations. Integrating ICT into people's work and being able to use computers efficiently and effectively, has meant that voluntary organisations have been able to harness all that ICT has to offer.

Volunteers and workers are able to help people gain new skills such as: searching the web, using e-mail, building websites & using office programmes.

We are currently developing digital camera, video and audio training programmes and will be running these in community venues in East Manchester, Salford Women's Centre & Womens Action Forum as well as the WEVH itself.
