In 2009 the WEVH merged with Train 2000, a not for profit organisation owned by WICED ‘The Women's International Centre for Economic Development'.

Train 2000 is an innovative women's organisation that provides quality enterprise and employment services and influences policy, in order to improve the economic position of women.

Whether you are a woman who is thinking of becoming self employed or starting a company or if you are already in business and would appreciate some help and support, a member of our team of Enterprise Enablers will be happy to sit down with you to talk about your business in a one to one session and offer you advice and guidance.

Target Wellbeing Project

Target: Wellbeing aims to help people achieve healthier and happier lives. It is a programme of over 90 projects that increase exercise, encourage healthier eating and promote mental wellbeing. Funded by £8.9m from the National Lottery through the Big Lottery Fund, it is managed by Groundwork for the benefit of targeted, disadvantaged communities across the Northwest.

NVQ Level 3 in Management - A Success!!

Train 2000 recently ran an NVQ Level 3 in Management. We successfully trained 55 women. Each and every one of our learners had a positive experience which has improved their confidence in the workplace.
